Chris Brown Released With No Charges After Being Detained In Paris On Rape Allegations

Chris Brown has been released from the police custody and won't be facing any charges for now, but investigation is still on as he has been accused of aggravated rape and drug offense by a young lady in Paris.

No charges was dictected against him, the prosecutor's office said, but investigation in still on.

The associated press, citing two anonymous police officials, stated that the 29-year-old singer was detained on Monday along with his bodyguard and one other person after a woman accused Chris Brown of raping her in hotel room last week.

The singer took to his Instagram page on Tuesday and issued a statement, denying the accusations by the Paris lady.

He wrote;
"I wanna make it perfectly clear ..... This is false and a whole lot of CAP!," he continued in the all-caps message.
".... For my daughter and my family this is so disrespectful and is against my character and morals!!!!!" 

Chris Brown's attorney, Raphael Chiche, said his client "Vigorously protests his innocence" and has directed him to file a complaint due to the "slander of which he has unfairly been the subject."

The Pop singer, has had several run-ins with the law, including physical assault charges after an incident with his ex girlfriend, Rihanna, in 2009. He was charged with felony assault and making criminal threat in that incident, and received five years probation and community service.
